Congratulations to the young men on the Albany Hornet Baseball Team!  They battled for the entire district and regular season and have won the opportunity to play ONE MORE GAME!  We must play Jewel Sumner in a one-game, winner take all playoff to determine who gets the third playoff berth from our district.  Just to get to the point where we are playing a game this late in the year that is this meaningful is an accomplishment for our program!  I am so proud of these young men.  They have overcome so much adversity (most of which was self-inflicted) and battled for this opportunity!  We hope to see ALL of the Hornet supporters in Amite on Monday!!   

It takes a tremendous amount of mental fortitude to perservere and GET INTO THE PLAYOFFS!  We believe we can do it!  We BELIEVE we can do it!  WE BELIEVE WE CAN DO IT!  Come out and support the kids as they attempt to overcome years of negativity...and quiet the 'nay' sayers!!
